How to size your nails
Step 1 - Prepare Your Tools
Gather a flexible, soft measuring tape (like one used for sewing), a notepad, and a pen. Make sure your nails are clean and dry for accurate measurements. Remove any acrylic/gel extensions and polish before starting
Step 2 - Measure Nail Width
Hold the measuring tape across the widest part of your natural nail (typically near the nail bed). Ensure the tape is flat and straight. Record the width in millimeters (mm) on your notepad
Step 3 - Use a Straight Edge for Accuracy
If the measuring tape is too flexible or difficult to use on small nails, you can place a small strip of adhesive tape across the nail, mark the edges of the nail on the tape, and then measure that strip with the measuring tape or ruler to get a more precise reading.
Step 4 - Repeat for All Fingers
Measure the width of each nail on both hands. Record all measurements carefully to ensure a perfect fit for each press-on nail.
How to apply your nails
Step 1 - Prepare Your Natural Nails
Start by washing your hands and nails thoroughly. Gently push back your cuticles and buff the surface of your natural nails with a nail buffer to remove shine. Wipe your nails with an alcohol pad or nail cleanser to remove any oils or debris for better adhesion.
Step 2 - Select and Apply Adhesive
For Adhesive Tabs: Choose the correct tab size for each nail. Peel off the backing and apply the tab to your natural nail, pressing it firmly to ensure it sticks well.
For Glue: Apply a thin, even layer of nail glue to your natural nail and a small dot on the press-on nail for strong adhesion.
Step 3 - Apply the Press-On Nail
Align the press-on nail with your cuticle (angled slightly down) and gently press it onto your nail bed. Hold it down firmly for 15–30 seconds to ensure it's securely attached.
Step 4 - Finish and File
Once all the nails are applied, file or shape the edges if needed to perfect the look. Avoid getting your hands wet for at least an hour after application to allow the adhesive to set fully.
By following these steps, you’ll have flawless press-on nails that last!
